Bronx Founder Launches Back-to-School Safety Initiative for Autistic Children

BRONX, NY — August 2026 — AUSOMETISM, a Bronx-based autism safety brand, is launching a limited-time Back-to-School Safety Initiative designed to help families of autistic, non-speaking, and limited-verbal children add an extra layer of safety as the new school year begins.

The initiative encourages families, schools, and community organizations to make child identification and safety part of their back-to-school preparation. AUSOMETISM’s safety-focused clothing is designed to communicate important information when a child may be unable to speak or explain their needs.

The initiative is also opening opportunities for schools and organizations to receive a special partner extension beyond the public September 4 deadline, allowing community partners additional time to participate.
“Our goal is simple: give families another layer of protection when their child may not be able to communicate,” says the founder of AUSOMETISM. “Back-to-school preparation should include safety—not just school supplies.”
